Norbert Fieseler

Member of the Executive Board and Labor Director of Bayer Business Services GmbH

Norbert Fieseler was made a member of the Executive Board and Labor Director of the service company Bayer Business Services GmbH on June 1, 2006.

He was born on May 28, 1953 in H�ls, near Krefeld. He studied economics at the University of Cologne, graduating in 1979.

He started his career at Bayer as a finance and accounting trainee in Leverkusen. His first foreign assignment was in Pittsburgh in the United States. Norbert Fieseler has been with Bayer for 27 years.

Since 1997 he has focused on general management. His first assignment was with Bayer S.A. in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he was administrative and finance director from 1997 to 2000. After six months back in Leverkusen, where he played an important part in reorganizing the finance and accounting functions, Fieseler then spent four years at Bayer Italia, ultimately as Executive Officer. From mid-2005, he was head of Agency Business and Administrative Coordination in the Regional Coordination department of the Corporate Center in Leverkusen.

Fieseler is married and has two grown-up daughters.
