The Fascination of Bayer visualized in spectacular images
Bayer presents new corporate image film
Premiere at the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting in Düsseldorf
Leverkusen, May 12, 2009 – Bayer premiered its new corporate image film at today’s Annual Stockholders’ Meeting in Düsseldorf. Entitled “Elements of Fascination”, the six-minute film demonstrates in spectacular images how the inventor company is already working today to find solutions to tomorrow’s problems. “The film focuses on our researchers because it is they who use the natural elements in developing innovative solutions. It visualizes all that our slogan so succinctly conveys: Bayer – Science For A Better Life,” explains Michael Schade, Head of Corporate Communications at Bayer.
The film was shot at locations in Germany, the Netherlands, Thailand and Spain using the latest RED video technology developed in the United States. This resulted in authentic and particularly atmospheric images of Bayer’s global activities: physicians and researchers collaborating to develop a new cancer drug; farmers and scientists working to improve crop yields; and chemical and product engineers identifying new applications for nanotechnology.
“Anyone who sees the film will recognize that Bayer stands for sustainability. That is what we aim to convey in an attractive way to our customers, stockholders, employees and other stakeholders,” says Michael Schade.
The film can now be viewed in nine languages at www.imagefilm.bayer.com.
