| The "Green" project of Manuel Dreesmann (University of Arts Bremen, 1st prize) describes a paternoster system that climbs slowly up offce and high-rise buildings, by that transporting on-site cultivated agricultural products. |

| The "Green" concept solves difficulties with transportation and distribution by producing the desired products directly on-site, thus dispensing with the need for elaborate packaging. |

| The "Urban Mole" design from Philipp Hermes (Folkwang University in Essen, 2nd prize) stands for a transportation unit, which is the size of a shoe box, and which navigates independently along the ceilings of existing sewer system networks using RFID chips and robot technology. |

| One of the two third prizes went to Mareike Frensemeier (University of Arts Bremen) for her "bacs" concept. She designed 100 percent ecological protective packaging made of cellulose, which is produced using the bacterium acetobacter xylinum and "grows around" the surface of different products to create an individual protective shell. |

| Matthias Rauch (Folkwang University, Essen) received another third prize for his "Water Ahead" model of an automatic rescue capsule system that locates flood victims independently and uses an integrated filter system to supply them with fresh drinking water while they wait to be rescued. |
